Understanding Custom Columns and Custom Labels in Entytle:

Entytle allows you to customize data attributes to align with your specific business needs. Using custom columns and custom labels, you can add unique details, adjust nomenclature, and improve usability across assets, orders, services, and more.

Custom Columns:

Custom columns let you define unique fields for various data categories, tailored to your specific assets, orders, or operational needs. You can assign different text, date, and numeric fields to each category, making your data as specific and relevant as needed.

Custom Field Availability by Category:

Location: Up to 20 text/date fields and 20 numeric fields.

Asset: Up to 40 text/date fields and 20 numeric fields.

Order: Up to 20 text/date fields and 20 numeric fields.

Service: Up to 40 text/date fields and 20 numeric fields.

Service Contract: Up to 20 text/date fields and 20 numeric fields.

Opportunity: Up to 20 text/date fields and 20 numeric fields.

Predicted Needs: Up to 20 text/date fields and 20 numeric fields.

Additionally, numeric custom columns now feature a range filter or slider option, allowing for precise data refinement and analysis. You can also add Master Service Custom Fields, further enhancing data flexibility across the platform.

How to Set Up a Custom Column:

  1. Define the Column Name: Choose a name that reflects the purpose of your custom field.

  2. Select the Data Type: Choose from:

  3. Text/Date Options: Text, Date, Single Select List, or Multi-Select List

  4. Numeric Option: Use numeric columns for any fields involving numbers

  5. Ingest and Enable:

  6. Ingest the custom column into the system.

  7. Enable it in the admin UI so that it appears in Entytle.

  8. Configure Display Settings: Set display preferences to ensure the custom column is visible in relevant areas.

Custom Labels

Custom labels allow you to rename attributes (including standard Entytle fields and custom columns) to reflect your internal terminology. This makes Entytle more intuitive for your team, as each field name aligns with your established naming conventions.

By configuring custom columns and labels, you can create a tailored, user-friendly data experience that enhances navigation and insights within Entytle.

Can I download opportunities' data?

Individual/Single Opportunity:

Users can now download individual opportunities directly from the opportunity view for faster access to specific data. This feature enables you to retrieve data for a single opportunity, providing a quick way to gather precise information as needed.

All Opportunities:

Yes, you can also download all opportunities' data within a certain record limit. To do that, click on the download button on the Opportunities tab.

Additionally, you have the option to download supplementary data, such as Contacts, along with the opportunities, making it easier to manage and analyze comprehensive information.
